Marcel Bovis

French Photographer Marcel Bovis was a self-taught photographer who was also the first photographer to have an exhibition devoted to his work in Paris. He is famous for his photographs of Paris, many of which were taken at night. In 1941 Bovis co-authored a travel book about Paris book with Mac Orlan whom he worked with on his Paris photographs.  Bovis became a member of the group of XV in 1946, an association of French photographers.
