David Grob

Founder & Director

David Grob founded Grob Gallery in 1981. Originally based in London, the gallery was moved to Geneva in November 2016 and specializes in 20th century photography, paintings, sculptures and works on paper. Aside from operating Grob Gallery, David has co-founded and/or directed several other art galleries in London, Monte Carlo, Los Angeles. He has also curated many distinguished exhibitions featuring artists such as Basquiat, Eugene Boudin, Peter Blake, Brancusi, Alexander Calder, Julio Gonzalez, Barbara Hepworth, Damien Hirst, Henry Moore, Helmut Newton, Pablo Picasso, Marc Quinn, Renoir, Medardo Rosso, Andy Warhol.

 

David is an internationally recognized art collector whose collected artworks have been sold to over 30 distinguished museums worldwide including Tate Gallery, London Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York MOMA, Pompidou Centre, Paris MOMA, Kunsthaus Zurich.
